Drop-In Pan Chiller Cooling System
CFE's versatile Drop-In Pan Chiller Cooling System is designed to be easily retrofitted into existing counter or can be designed into new counters. These practical components can be used not only for chef prep counters, but also for buffet stations, serving lines, ans specialty carts (i.e. salsa bars, condiment stations, etc.)
Fans
The fans used on the CS-DTD are fixed at 4" x 4". The fans are located on the inner side of the pan chiller (upper & lower). The location of these fans is vital as they intake the cooling air from the booster (located below the fan) and circulate the cooling air-flow around the chiller to cool the pans.
Slope & Drain
The unique and innovative 1" slope design found on the CS-DTD is essential for draining water during the defrost and the cleaning stage in order to prevent any form of mold and bacteria building on inside the cooling system. This approach positions the CS-DTD to self-drain and eliminate problematic issues.
Components and Materials
The Unit is one-piece 16 gauge stainless steel, as is the interior liner. All other stainless steel components are also fabricated using 18 gauge material. A detailed bill of materials is attached for reference.
